Dr. MAC’s Kid’s Santa Dashes 6:00 pm; 5K Jingle Run/Walk 7:00 pm; 1 Mile Holiday Walk 7:10 pm
Early packet & shirt pickup at Fit2Run Downtown Main Street Sarasota Friday 12/15 & Saturday 12/16 till 6:00 pm both days; and at the Fit2Run UTC mall store next to Dillard’s Sunday 12/17 through Wednesday 12/20 store hours and Thursday 12/21 till 5:00 pm.
All participants receive Jingle Bells, Laces, plus Lighted Clip on flashers. First 1,800 receive a Commemorative Leslie Jordan moisture wicking shirt.
Huge post-race party and holiday festival on LWR Main Street with adult beverages. (proper I.D. required) Featured entertainment “Gamble Creek Band.”
Fit2Run CLUB members and local running club members receive a $5.00 discount when registering at a Fit2Run location. At the UTC Mall location also receive a FREE Smoothie (Valued at $7.00) when registering.

The Jingle 5K Run/Walk is a festive way to kick off the holidays by helping the The Manatee Memorial Foundation, Inc.’ Supporting our Community. Just tie Jingle Bells to your shoe laces and a clip on flasher (which we supply) and you are off!
Friday, December 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. on Lakewood Ranch Main Street, Lakewood Ranch. Each 5K runner receives a shirt, bells, shoe laces, and a chip embedded bib for the Run. Race starts and finishes on Health Parkway. Registration, shirt, bells, laces, flashers, and bib pick up at Downtown Fit2Run Sarasota Friday 12/15 & Saturday 12/16 both days till 6:00 pm; Fit2Run UTC next to Dillard’s Sunday 12/17 till Wednesday 12/20 store hours and Thursday 12/21 till 5:00 pm. Race day at LWR Main street from 4:00 pm. Huge post race party on LWR Main Street.
The 5K is chip timed by the Lakeshore Athletic Services (provider for the Chicago Marathon). Follows a route from Health Parkway onto Town Center Parkway and back as a festive holiday run with live music on the way out and back, elf attired course marshals, Santa Water Stops, then finishes with a huge post race party. The party is fully catered and features adult beverages with proper ID. Meet and connect with representatives from various health and athletic organizations, plus receive valuable tips. The one mile walk follows a less challenging up and back course. WAVE start based on estimated finish time for safety!
Dr MAC’s Kid’s Santa Dashes commence at 6:00 p.m. and feature races for children of all ages: The 3-4 run 100 meters; the 5-6 run 200 meters; the 7-9 run 400 meters; and the 10-12 run 800 meters. (Children participating in the 5K can also run in the children’s Santa Dashes for free). Each child receives an event Dr. Mac T-Shirt, finisher’s medal, flasher, bib and goody bag. Top 3 finishers in all age categories receive custom trophies. New Kid’s Santa Dash course.
Awards: Top Male/Female finishers receive New Balance running shoes courtesy of Fit2Run. Custom plaques and gift certificates will be awarded to M/F Master, Grand Master, Sr. Grand Master, Veteran runners. Age group awards 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, and five-year intervals to 80+.
Participants receive a Leslie Jordan ‘Moisture Wicking collectors Jingle 5K shirt. In addition all participants receive flashers, Jingle shoe laces and bells to jingle with a beat. 5K runners receive a commemorative Jingle bib with a timing chip embedded. Triple Challenge participants will receive their commemorative medal and gift certificates to winners.
